SASKATOON – Four teens are facing charges after police recovered a number of stolen bicycles on Saturday.
Police were originally called to the 3100-block of Milton Street just before 6 a.m. after receiving a call prowlers were in backyards.
Responding officers spoke with several young people who were then turned over to their parents.
Then around 7 p.m., police were called back to the same block after several bikes were reported stolen.
The investigation led officers to a residence on Marlborough Crescent where 11 stolen bikes were recovered.
Police were able to identify four of the bicycles but have yet been able to link the other seven to their owners.
Four teens, ages 12 to 16, are facing charges of possession of stolen property and mischief.
