Lavigne, Bieber among Hello! Canada’s 50 Most Beautiful Stars

TORONTO — Singers Avril Lavigne and Justin Bieber, actors Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds, hockey star Sidney Crosby and tennis pro Milos Raonic are among Canada’s 50 most beautiful people.

The list appears in the new issue of Hello! Canada, which hits newsstands Thursday.

“Unveiling our annual Most Beautiful issue is as thrilling as giving a close friend a big, beautiful birthday present,” said editor-in-chief Alison Eastwood, in a release.

Lavigne appears on the cover of the magazine and, inside, opens up about her upcoming wedding to Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger.

“I feel most beautiful when I’m around Chad,” Lavigne told Hello!.

Vancouver’s Kristin Kreuk and Antonio Cupo, who star on the Showcase series Beauty & the Beast and Global series Bomb Girls respectively, are among the stars on the list.

New mom Anna Silk, from Showcase’s Lost Girl, and Enuka Okuma of Global’s Rookie Blue, also made the cut.

Other “beautiful” Canadian stars, according to Hello!, include Toronto-born actors Stephen Amell and Will Arnett, B.C. singers Michael Bublé and Carly Rae Jepsen, former pop star and Montreal radio host Mitsou Gélinas, London, Ont.-born actress Rachel McAdams, Halifax native Ellen Page and Vancouver’s Jason Priestley.

Hello! Canada will celebrate its 50 Most Beautiful Stars issue with a party Thursday night at Toronto’s Shangri-La hotel. The guest list includes some of the stars who appear in the magazine, including singers Raine Maida and Matt Dusk and ballet dancer Sonia Rodriguez.
