Fourth Canadian allegedly linked to Algerian gas plant bombing

Since 16×9’s program “Terrorist Recruits” aired on April 5, 2013 the name of a fourth Canadian was identified as having possible connections to the deadly Al-Qaeda-related terrorist attack at an Algerian gas plant in January this year.

Sources allege that a Libyan-Canadian man named Ryan Enderi is under investigation, but it is not known whether he is alive or dead. Enderi, who is also known as, “Mujahid”, a word meaning “warrior” for jihad is from southwestern, Ontario. Reports state that Enderi may have left Canada around the same time as three other London, Ontario men who have been linked to terrorist activity abroad. The remains of two of those men, Ali Medlej and Xristos Katsiroubas, were identified by the RCMP at the site of the Algerian gas plant bombing. A third man, Aaron Yoon, is said to be alive and serving a two year sentence in Mauritania for terrorism offences.

The RCMP has only stated that it is still investigating Canadian links to the Algerian gas plant bombing. From its Twitter account on April 4, just days after media reports identified the names of Medlej and Katsiroubas, the RCMP asked anyone with information to contact them.
