WINNIPEG – A 41-year-old Winnipeg man has been hit with several child pornography related charges after police were led to his Transcona area home following an investigation.

The Winnipeg Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit said it identified a residence where electronic file videos of child pornography were being watched and distrbuted.
Scott Sovak has since been charged with possession of child pornography, accessing of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
He remains in custody.
