Hamilton police have charged a Dundas, Ont., doctor after officers said two female patients were sexually assaulted.
Police said the first victim told investigators in August that she was sexually assaulted by her doctor in June. After officers launched an investigation, a second victim came forward and reported a sexual assault that happened in July.
Dr. Pierre Picard, 48, of Dundas, Ont., was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Det. Doug Jonovich in the sexual assault unit at 905-540-4614 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
