Prince Albert Raiders hosting ‘Saskatchewan Rush Night’

The Prince Albert Raiders have announced they are partnering up with the two-time defending National Lacrosse League (NLL) champion for “Saskatchewan Rush Night” on Nov. 25.

Raiders players will wear custom jerseys that blend the brands of the Western Hockey League (WHL) team and the Rush to celebrate the sport of lacrosse.

“The Rush have become an integral part of the sports landscape locally and across the province,” Raiders business manager Michael Scissions said.

“The popularity of lacrosse is growing throughout the province, especially in Prince Albert due to the Rush moving to Saskatoon last season.”

Game-worn jerseys will be available for purchase online or via a silent auction, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Prince Albert Minor Lacrosse Association.

Also in attendance at the Art Hauser Centre will be the Champion’s Cup trophy, the Crush dance team and the Rush’s mascot, Bruiser.

Tickets are available online or at the Raider office. Prince Albert faces off against the Medicine Hat Tigers at 7 p.m. CT on Nov. 25.
