Actors at the O’Keefe Ranch Halloween maze say there was a group of trouble makers in the Field of Screams Saturday night.
Global News spoke with one woman who only wanted to be identified as ‘Kimberly’.
She was an actor inside of a cabin with only her arm sticking out between two boards, pretending to scream for help. She says a person she believes to be a young man used a crutch to smash her hand.
“He managed to hit my hand three times so I’m bruised from my knuckles to almost my wrist,” Kimberly said.
She says other actors were also harassed and assaulted.
“He went after my son as well,” Kimberly said. “He didn’t hit him, but made an attempt to hit him.”
“From what I heard from the ER staff, I was the third person to come in with injuries.”
Kimberly- and the Ranch manager- say the RCMP have launched an investigation.
O’Keefe Ranch has promised extra security for the remaining nights of the event.
