Woman facing manslaughter charge after death on Manitoba First Nation

Manitoba RCMP arrested and charged Edna McNabb, 37, in connection to the death of a 35-year-old man.

The man’s body was found on Wednesday after RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance on Moose Lake First Nation.

McNabb was also charged with aggravated assault on a 29-year-old woman and assault with a weapon on a 17-year-old and 26-year-old female during the same incident.

The 17-year-old female from Moose Lake did not receive medical attention. The other three victims, all from Opaskwayak Cree Nation, were transported to a nursing station.
