Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death after a man died in hospital Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the area of 107 Avenue and 110 Street just after midnight Sunday, where a 46-year-old was found with an obvious injury to his chest, according to police.

He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and were interviewing witnesses Monday.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
