School zone reduced speeds back in effect in Winnipeg on Thursday

WINNIPEG — Reduced speed zones around Winnipeg schools will be back in effect on September 1.

The reduced speed zones started in June 2014 with signs being put up around 171 schools.

Between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. from the beginning of September until the end of June the maximum speed limit is 30 km/h.
