Two people were injured in an armed home invasion in the community of Panorama Hills on Thursday.
Officers were called to the 0-100 block of Panamount Common N.W. at around 9:30 p.m.
According to police, three men with handguns forced their way into the home. The residents, a man and a woman, suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by the intruders.
Investigators said the suspects left the scene in a dark van.
It’s not clear if anything was taken from the home.
A woman in the house told Global News the victims were recovering but would not comment further.
“I don’t want to say anything police told us not to,” she said.
Police said the victims are cooperating with the investigation.
