WINNIPEG — A road leading to Caddy Lake re-opened Thursday morning, with reduced speed, weeks after flooding closed the stretch. Highway 312 between Highway 44 and the Ontario border has been closed for nearly three weeks after 136 mm of rain fell in the Whiteshell area in a matter of hours.

Highway 44, which was also washed out, just reopened last week.
The area is still recovering, with only essential boats allowed on Caddy Lake.
