WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets announced they’ve extended qualifying offers to eight players.

The Jets did not issue a qualifying offer to Austen Brassard making him an unrestricted free agent.

Brassard, 23, scored 15 goals with 21 assists in 75 games with the Manitoba Moose last season.

The Jets are expected to hold their annual summer development camp next week for their rookies and recent draft picks.
