The event is being held to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Luckily for those participating, weather in Calgary is expected to be fairly warm, with a forecasted low of 6 C on Friday and 7 C on Saturday.

It’s the second year that Calgary firefighters are participating in the rooftop campout. The event originated in Edmonton in 2006, and has since spread to other communities like Airdrie and Strathmore.
