First responders testified in the third day of the trial for four men accused of killing Lukas Strasser-Hird.
Franz Cabrera, Jordan Liao, Joch Pouk, and Assmar Shlah are all on trial accused of the second degree murder of the 18-year-old.
Strasser-Hird was beaten, kicked, and stabbed outside of a southwest bar on November 23, 2013.
Paramedic Brad Eggen testified in court Friday morning about the night of the beating.
“I could just tell by looking at him, he was in trouble,” Eggen told the court. “He did ask at one point…if he was going to die.”
Strasser-Hird died several hours later in hospital.
The trial is scheduled for nine weeks.
