The Running Man Challenge has gone global, as the New Zealand Police posted their version of the viral sensation online Wednesday, calling out 10 other international law forces to show their moves.

The video captures a pair of cops pull up in a cruiser and break out in dance to “My Boo” by the Ghost Town DJs.

Within seconds several other officers join in on the dance party.

“We catch people on the run everyday, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team,” the post read.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The caption went on to challenge six police organizations in Australia, one in England, as well as the Los Angeles Police Department and New York Police Department.

“Are you up for it Victoria Police, NSW Police Force, Western Australia Police, Queensland Police Service, South Australia Police, ACT Policing, Tasmania Police, LAPD Headquarters, Isles of Scilly Police and NYPD?”

The video had received nearly 2.5 million views within the first eight hours.

The Running Man Challenge has been crossing the Internet since late April, after a pair of college basketball players with the Maryland Terrapins issued the first challenge on Instagram.

The craze eventually stretched into the NBA and has since caught on elsewhere.
