A teen accused of fatally shooting four people in northern Saskatchewan and attempting to kill seven others was back in court Tuesday. The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, appeared via video in La Loche.

The killings took place in La Loche in January when two people were killed at a home then two others at the local high school.

He faces four charges of first-degree murder, seven charges of attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

The accused shooter will remain in remand until his next court appearance on June 6.
