WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose have made several moves ahead of their final homestand of the regular season.

Manitoba signed Jansen Harkins, the Winnipeg Jets’ second round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, to an amateur tryout agreement. The forward is coming off a 57 point (24 goals and 33 assists) season with the WHL’s Prince George Cougars. Harkins recorded 54 goals and 116 assists in 211 career WHL games.

Manitoba has also released forwards Brant Harris and Darik Angeli along with defenceman Jordon Southorn from their professional tryout agreements. Harris had an assist in 11 games with the Moose while Angeli scored a goal and two assists in 10 games. Both players moved to Manitoba on March 9. Southorn meanwhile was held pointless in his two games with the Moose.

Manitoba opens a four game homestand Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Admirals.
