Wintry weather for Winnipeg this weekend

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg could be in for another round of snow before the first weekend in April is over.

A disturbance that moved through southern Manitoba had dropped several centimetres of snow by Saturday morning.

Clouds are expected to build up again by late afternoon on Saturday bringing a 60 per cent chance of snow with north winds gusting up towards 50 km/h.

Sunday there is another possibly of snow with another system moving in that could also bring another couple of centimetres.

It will continue to be a cool start to April with below normal overnight lows. By Tuesday we are back to a high of 9 C but rain is in the forecast.
