REGINA – The NDP has announced four new candidates to replace four previous candidates who were dismissed over the last few days due to concerns about posts on their social media accounts.
Dennel Pickering (Saskatoon Northwest), Gloria Patrick (Regina Walsh Acres), Tina Vukovic (Estevan) and Karen Wormsbecker (Weyburn-Big Muddy) all have been announced as new NDP candidates.
Pickering has been a care aide worker in Saskatoon for the last 16 years, she has worked in home care since 2002.
Patrick is currently attending the University of Regina where she is completing her masters in Social Work.
Vuckovic works for the SLGA as a procurement specialist.
Wormsbecker is a registered nurse working in public health.

On Saturday morning Saskatchewan NDP Leader Cam Broten announced the dismissal of Terry Bell (Regina-Walsh Acres) and Cameron Robrock (Estevan), as well as his campaign manager.
“When I saw unacceptable social media posts from nominated candidates yesterday I was deeply disappointed,” Broten said. “We signed up fifty-three enthusiastic brand new candidates and it is obvious there was a gap in the campaign’s vetting process specifically related to social media.”
Saskatoon-Northwest candidate Clayton Wilson was let go last Thursday and Weyburn-Big Muddy candidate Mark Jeworski on Friday, both over concerns about social media posts.
