Donald Trump Jr. does radio interview with white supremacist
The eldest son of GOP front-runner Donald Trump took part in a radio interview with self-described “European American advocate” James Edwards.
Edwards is the host of The Political Cesspool, described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “an overtly racist, anti-Semitic radio show.”
Donald Trump Jr. appeared on the Liberty RoundTable radio show this week, with Edwards also taking part.

Trump Jr. conducted the interview over the phone, and chatted about his father and American values.
“He’s about merit and about hard work,” Trump Jr. said. “He was a great dad. People don’t see the warmer side of Trump.”

Trump Jr. says “the left” caters to those who don’t want to work and those in the country illegally, leaving hard-working Americans “in the dust.”
“The average American is finally getting it,” Trump Jr. said, adding his father’s words are often taken out of context or misconstrued.
“It’s a movement. …He’s giving a voice to hard-working Americans again.”
Trump Jr. has taken flack for the interview since it aired.
However, he claims he had no idea Edwards would be a part of the interview, Bloomber Politics reports.
“I never knew he was in the room so he didn’t interview me. He did apparently ask a question or two though. I had no idea,” Trump told Bloomberg.
Trump Jr. also provided his schedule for the day, arranged by an outside booking agency, which did not mention Edward’s name.
“I certainly had no idea of James’ background, and if I had I would have refused.”
