$19K in drugs seized from southern Alberta homes

A 30-year-old man is facing charges after police seized $19,000 in drugs from two homes in southeastern Alberta on Friday.

Officers arrested the suspect while executing search warrants in Brooks, Alta.

Police recovered about two kilograms of marijuana, ten grams of cocaine and $3,800 in cash.

Keith Jamieson of Brooks faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Jamieson was released bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 16.
