WINNIPEG – It took less than 24 hours, but a GoFundMe page set up in honour of Cooper Nemeth has reached its $10,000 fundraising goal.
The page was created with a goal of $5,000, and by Monday afternoon it was more than $5,500.
It states all donations will be given to the Nemeth family who can choose to use it as they wish.
The account was created by a family member.
“I am one of the nieces in the family and will do anything I can to help them out as we mourn the death of our Cooper…Please be okay with that as we know they are a very giving family.”
Nemeth’s aunt, Laresa Sayles later wrote on Facebook, “Someone started this for our family. God Bless you. This money will go to support an organization and/or create one of our own.”
