Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspicious man who attempted to pull a teenage girl out of her home in Dartmouth Thursday evening.
Police say the man has been going door to door in the area of Topsail Blvd and Dorothea Drive asking residents about alarm systems over the past two weeks.
On Thursday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. the male approached a residence on Topsail Blvd and asked a 17-year-old resident if she wanted to go for a drive. When the girl told him no, he tried to grab her arm and pull her out of the doorway, but she closed the door on him and called the police.
The man is described as white, 5’9 – 5’11 in height, 20-30 years old, with light brown hair, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and sneakers.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to contact Police at 902-490-5016 or www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
