PEACHLAND, B.C. — A 47-year-woman was killed in a head-on crash on Highway 97 in Peachland Wednesday afternoon.
A Kelowna woman behind the wheel of an SUV lost control, skidded across the centreline and hit a Mini Cooper head on.

The woman inside the Mini Cooper was taken from the scene in critical condition and later succumbed to her injuries.
The Kelowna woman driving the SUV was also taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Conditions were slick and snowy at the time of the crash but police aren’t confirming what caused the accident.
