Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star defaced with swastika
The spray-painted swastika, which was done backwards, was cleaned off the star by Saturday.
The former Celebrity Apprentice host and current GOP presidential candidate who was honoured with the star in 2007, has been the target of graffiti attacks before. In September 2015, someone put a big yellow “X” on top of his star.
In December 2015, someone wrote the word “rapist” over Bill Cosby’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce oversees the Walk of Fame, and a new celebrity is inducted approximately 24 times a year. New stars have been added for the last 50 years. Trump’s star is located 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, near the famed Hollywood and Highland intersection.
There are no suspects. The Chamber of Commerce and police have not commented on the matter.
