SUMMERLAND–The Summerland Christmas Express steam engine rides are one of the most popular Holiday attractions in the Okanagan.
In fact, demand for the tours is so high this year, that four extra bookings were added.
Despite that, all of the rides are sold out.
The Kettle Valley Steam Railway General Manager says if you have your heart set on going, your best bet is to add your name to the waiting list.
“Things happen,” says Ken Orford. “The weather changes, people can’t make it. There’s always a few cancellations every day. You just have to be ready when the iron is hot.”
The Summerland Christmas Express features a banjo player leading Christmas Carols and a special visit from the man in red himself.
If you can’t make the train this year, bookings are already being accepted for Christmas of 2016.
