CALGARY – One man was rushed to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition on Thursday after an assault in the community of Sunalta.
Emergency crews were called to a disturbance in the 1600 block of 12 Avenue S.W. at around 2:15 a.m.

Officers arrived to find a man in his 40s unconscious and bleeding. His condition was later upgraded to serious, but stable.
Neighbours tell Global News the house has been visited by police frequently.
Investigators are speaking with two witnesses.
