Canadians always take pride in the country’s comedic chops, and now it’s fair to say that we have the right to brag about our musical talent.

Canadian musicians are currently dominating the American music charts; in fact, six out of the top seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 are Canadian-made.

Drake’s song “Hotline Bling” has been riding high on the charts for a month now, and it’s nearly impossible to avoid coverage of his dance moves.

The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes have inched their way up, adding a nice mix to the Canadian dominance. The only thing left to do is knock Adele’s “Hello” out of the top spot, which would be a near-impossible task at the moment. The British artist just surpassed four million in album sales, so she’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
