WATCH: CF-18s, Snowbirds and STARS Air Ambulance took to the skies during Grey Cup Festival

WINNIPEG — The Grey Cup Festival brought thousands of CFL fans flocking to Winnipeg from across the country and entertainment took to the streets and the air to wow the crowds.

On Saturday around 4:30 p.m. the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Snowbirds performed two flybys at the beginning of the Grey Cup Festival Santa Claus Parade. From downtown Winnipeg it looked like the aircraft were skimming the tops of buildings.

STARS Air Ambulance gave the Grey Cup a ride to Investors Group Field in style. After the Fan March that started the Grey Cup on its journey from the RBC Convention Centre to The Forks, the trophy was picked up by STARS and taken to IGF for the CFL championship game.

Before the Grey Cup game on Sunday, two Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18’s soared over IGF twice. The flight and boom of their flight was caught by our cameras outside the stadium.
