MONTREAL – Carey Price resumed practising with the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, nearly three weeks after he suffered a lower body injury.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

It was not immediately clear when he would be ready to play in a game.

Price, named the NHL’s most valuable player and top goaltender last season, was hurt Oct. 29 in Edmonton, although he finished the game.

Backup Mike Condon has gone 5-1-2 in Price’s absence.
