One woman is dead in what police are calling a serious collision on a Saskatchewan highway. It happened Tuesday on Highway 9.
At 10:22 a.m. CT, RCMP responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision approximately six kilometres north of Ebenezer, Sask.
Preliminary investigation shows that a northbound car driven by a 76-year-old woman appears to have crossed over the centre line and into the path of oncoming vehicles.

The car collided with a southbound truck with two female occupants. Following the initial crash, a southbound SUV with two occupants collided with the car.
The 76-year-old driver from Yorkton was pronounced dead on scene. Her name has not been released at this time.
The remaining vehicle occupants were taken to hospital in Yorkton with what were reported to be non-life threatening injuries.
Mounties said the three vehicles collided in what they call poor road conditions. A collision reconstructionist is assisting Canora RCMP with the investigation.
Police have since cleared from the crash scene and traffic is flowing regularly.
