EDMONTON — A woman’s death in north Edmonton over the weekend has been confirmed as the city’s 18th homicide of 2015.
Edmonton police have identified the victim as 54-year-old Patricia Roach.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday morning, but police said the cause of Roach’s death will not be released at this time “for investigative purposes.”
Police were called to a home in the area of 130 Avenue and 123 Street at around 4 p.m. Saturday regarding a suspicious death.
Homicide detectives were still on scene Sunday afternoon and the house remained cordoned off with police tape.

Neighbours told Global News the woman lived in the home for about 10 years.
At this point police have not released any information about a potential suspect(s).
