Reports of polling stations in northern Manitoba running out of ballots appear to be unfounded.
Elections Canada Regional Media Adviser for Saskatchewan and Manitoba Marie-France Kenny told Global News she has not heard of any polling stations in Manitoba running short of ballots for the federal election.
Global News also contacted the campaign office for Churchill—Keewatinook Aski MP Niki Ashton. Ashton’s Assistant to Member of Parliament Gordon Landrialt also had not been told of any ballot shortages.

And if a polling station does run out of ballots there is a process to continue to allow votes to be cast.
“There’s no risk of people not voting because there is no ballot.” Marie-France Kenny said.
Elections Canada has guidelines in place to allow voting to continue even if there are no official ballots available.
