INNISFAIL – Correctional Service Canada has issued a warrant for Kenton Boyle who went missing from Bowden Institution.
It’s unclear how or exactly when the 29-year-old escaped. CSC says he was absent from the headcount in a minimum security unit just before noon Sunday.
Boyle was serving a sentence of over four years for armed robbery, disguise with intent and possession of property obtained by crime.
Boyle is described as 5’7”, 177 lbs, with a fair complexion, hazel eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his chest and right arm.
CSC is working with RCMP and police to locate the inmate.
