You won’t believe price of Oilers ticket for season opener

EDMONTON — You don’t have tickets to the Edmonton Oilers season opener, but would love to see Connor McDavid play his first NHL game at Rexall Place? Well, it could cost you the price of a cheap car, or an all-inclusive trip for two to Mexico.

A single ticket for the Oct. 15 game versus the St. Louis Blues is going for as much as $2345.25 on StubHub.

The pricey ticket will put you in the 19th row in the lower bowl to watch McDavid and the rest of the Oilers take on the Blues.

There are a dozen other sellers trying to deal a ticket anywhere from $1052.40 to $2342.25.

The cheapest ticket available on the site for the game is going for $127.44.
