REGINA – A website meant for extra-marital affairs has just over 100 email addresses registered to provincial and municipal offices, as well as the two major universities in Saskatchewan.
A total of 43 Ashley Madison subscribers used the usask.ca domain address – exclusively used by students and faculty at the University of Saskatchewan. Five email address are tied to the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. according to a list obtained by Global News.

Saskatoon
- 43 University of Saskatchewan email addresses
- 5 City of Saskatoon email addresses
- 5 Saskatoon Health Region email addresses
Regina
- 41 University of Regina email addresses
- 5 City of Regina email addresses
- 5 Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region email addresses
- 2 Government of Saskatchewan email addresses
- 1 Regina Food Bank email address
After eliminating duplicates, 273,320 Canadian-registered email addresses appear in the data. Over 600 federal government email addresses are included on the list – 16 from the RCMP and 163 from the Canadian Forces.

On Tuesday, hackers apparently made good on threats to publish data on 32 million Ashley Madison users.
Experts said the data appeared to be authentic, in the sense of actually being from ashleymadison.com and not fake. However, the quality of the original data is questionable – users didn’t have to verify their email addresses when they started an account.
