MELFORT, Sask. – A Regina woman has been killed after a crash in Saskatchewan. The head-on crash happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 6 near Silver Park, south of Melfort.
Mounties say the 72-year-old woman, a passenger in a southbound car, was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The driver of the car, a 77-year-old man from Regina, was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Two men in the northbound truck, both in their 20’s and from Regina, were taken to a hospital in Melfort as a precaution and have since been released.
Melfort RCMP along with the coroner’s office and a forensic reconstruction unit from Prince Albert continue to investigation the cause of the crash.
