Free Stampede admission for kids on Wednesday morning

CALGARY – Wednesday marks Kids Day at the Calgary Stampede.

As such, Children under 12 (and their accompanying adults) will be able to access the Stampede grounds for free between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Guests will also be treated to a free pancake breakfast in the Grandstand Courtyard from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (while quantities last).

Visitors to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth can then watch free shows on the Grandstand stage from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., featuring the basketball stunt show Acrodunk and Canadian Trick riders Hearts of the West.

Finally, if you spot some youngsters with microphones wandering the grounds, it could be Matthew Vanderwerff or Alexia Sabau, who are the Stampede’s junior reporters for the day.
