UPDATE: Alleged Saskatoon car thief nabbed in B.C.
SASKATOON – A woman was held up in Saskatoon Thursday night by man armed with a handgun. Police say the woman was approached by the man around 11:40 p.m. in the 300-block of 26th Street East.
He robbed her of her car keys and then took the victim’s vehicle, a blue 2009 Subaru Forester with Nova Scotia licence plates.
A search by a canine unit was unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as an aboriginal man in his late 20’s, approximately six-foot one with a slim build and short black hair. He was wearing a t-shirt, dark pants, and a blue or black hat. His face was covered by a bandana.
