WINNIPEG — If you were hoping to tour the Assiniboine Park Zoo after work during the week this summer, upcoming changes could make that possible.
The zoo will extend its hours of operation an extra three hours on Wednesdays in July. The popular tourist attractions currents hours on Wednesday, and the rest of the week, are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting in July.
The changes come after a number of requests from the community to visit the zoo in the evening after work according to a news release on Monday.
