EDMONTON — The Edmonton Folk Music Festival announced Monday at noon that it was sold out of tickets for the 2015 event.
Fifty per cent of the tickets were sold in person at Telus Field on Saturday morning and the rest were sold at various Ticketmaster outlets and online starting Saturday at 3 p.m. Seniors tickets are still available and can be purchased through the box office starting Tuesday, June 9.

The official 2015 lineup for the hugely popular festival was released on Wednesday morning.
Among the artists taking part this year: Angus and Julia Stone, Brandi Carlile, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Of Monsters and Men, and Sinead O’Connor. The full lineup is posted below.
Tickets for the 35th annual event went on sale June 6, with those lining up in person getting first dibs. In recent years the festival has sold out quickly.
The festival will be held at Gallagher Park in the river valley, from August 6-9, 2015.
