AMHERST, N.S. — Four employees at a courthouse in Amherst, N.S., were released from hospital Monday after complaining of nausea, dizziness and burning to the throat following the delivery of a suspicious package.
The front desk at the courthouse was closed for cleaning, but reopened on Tuesday morning.
Nova Scotia’s Justice Department says the package originated from Hong Kong.
Amherst police Chief Ian Naylor says the package was seized by police and is being examined by the RCMP.
