WEST KELOWNA – A 45-year-old man is in hospital with life threatening injuries after he was stabbed in West Kelowna early Wednesday afternoon. RCMP say it happened shortly before 1 p.m. near the intersection of Solar Road and Elliot Road.
“When police attended, they located a 45-year-old man suffering from a serious stab wound,” says Kelowna RCMP spokesperson, Cpl. Joe Duncan. “He was rushed to hospital where he remains in serious condition.”

Duncan says a 50-year-old West Kelowna man has been arrested and remains in custody in connection with the stabbing.
“Police believe the individuals knew each other and the public is not at risk,” says Duncan.
The suspect is being held for a court appearance scheduled for sometime on Thursday in Kelowna.
