Man killed after grain truck rollover in Saskatchewan

DINSMORE, Sask. – A man has been killed after a rollover on a Saskatchewan grid road. It happened Thursday afternoon northwest of Dinsmore.

Mounties said the driver was hauling grain on the Anerly Grid Road when it rolled, causing extensive damage to the cab.

It took first responders approximately two hours to extract the driver. He passed away at the scene from the injuries he sustained. His name has not been released.

The grid road was closed for several hours while Mounties carried out their investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

The cause of the rollover remains under investigation.
