SASKATOON – If you were left frustrated and fed-up trying to log-on to the City of Saskatoon’s website Sunday evening to register for leisure services programs and couldn’t, you’re not alone. Yesterday was the first day to sign up for spring and summer programs – but the leisure services system experienced technical difficulties.

City officials have confirmed Monday there was a glitch in the system. The number of users who could register at any given time had not been increased by the city’s software provider. The city had requested it be increased to allow 450 consecutive users to log-on, up from 400.

Around 2,700 people were able to register Sunday night, which is more than the first night of registration last year.

According to city officials, they were unaware of the issue last night and had it fixed this morning.
