WINNIPEG – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 15 east of Dugald just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday killed a 33-year-old Anola woman, RCMP say.
An eastbound pickup truck and a westbound car crashed head-on in the westbound lane about two kilometres from Dugald.
Highway 15 was closed until shortly before 11 a.m. from Dugald to five kilometres east of the community, which is located 22 kilometres east of Winnipeg.

The woman who was driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The 22-year-old man who was driving the pickup truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other people in the vehicles.
Alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor in the collision and both drivers were wearing seatbelts, police say. An RCMP forensic collision reconstructionist is working on the investigation and the Mounties ask anyone who saw the crash to call the Oakbank RCMP detachment at 204-444-3847.
