Regina Police are investigating after the body of a 65 year-old man was found inside a home on the 2700 block of 5th Avenue North Friday morning.
Police received the call at approximately 10 a.m. The caller indicated there was deceased man at the home.
Police say it’s too early to know if the man’s death was criminal in nature. The Coroner has ordered an autopsy.
Forensic identification and major crimes investigators are on the case. The scene will be held pending further investigation.
The deceased’s name will not be released at this time, as police are still trying to contact his next-of-kin.
