Incumbent Josh Matlow has been re-elected in Ward 22 St. Paul’s with an overwhelming 86 per cent of the vote. His closest challenger, Bob Murphy, only won 5.6 per cent – 1,586 votes to Matlow’s 24,347.
Matlow was elected to council in 2010, winning Ward 22 with more than 52 per cent of the vote. Prior to that he ran provincially, losing to Ernie Eves in a 2002 by-election, and served as a Toronto school board trustee from 2003 to 2010.
