PELICAN NARROWS, Sask. – A suspicious death investigation has led to a second-degree murder charge in the northern Saskatchewan community of Pelican Narrows.
RCMP say a 29-year-old man died Monday after an altercation with another man.
The man was seriously injured and taken to a health centre where he was pronounced dead.
His name is not being released at the request of his family.
Adam Terrance Sewap, 32, has been charged with second-degree murder and will appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the two men are known to each other.
Mounties continue to investigate. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday in Saskatoon.
